Go Joel! Too many preachers are hate filled and dogmatic but not Joel. Christianity should be joyful, after all the Gospel means good news and Joel is a joy to listen to. I wish I lived in Houston so I could attend Lakewood Baptist Church every week. I like the way he is so articulate in his sermons and I fell spiritually enriched and closer to God every time I see him on youtube.

i like this guy. i'm a catholic and I usually don't enjoy listening to evangelicals preach (mainly cause they make anti-catholic claims), but i've only seen two preachers with such positive preaching styles: Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, and Joel Osteen. He is just an echo of what the true missionaries are, not scaring people into believing by talking about solely hell, but the positiveness of Christ. And if he does not support homosexuality, he doesn't bash gays and asserts they're good people.
