Directed by Sarah Watt. When Natalie collapses one August day and undergoes emergency surgery for an aneurysm, the doctor tells her she must avoid all stress and overexcitement including sex. The story follows Natalie, her husband Ross and their two children over the course of one messy year. Forced to take stock of everything in their life, Natalie and Ross must navigate trouble-prone family holidays, Ross job insecurity, and financial worries over Christmas. Its a wry look at twelve months in the life of a family under pressure. Starring acclaimed Australian actors Sacha Horler (Praise) as Natalie and Matt Day (Muriels Wedding) as Ross.

  • more like a life without... #sadface

  • fuck you

  • Another year without a decent Asutralian movie.

  • @idontubewithyou Oh, well if you don't understand how then you should ask them why. :)

I ASSUME they said it as a generalization, not referring to British comedy all together. It's just easy to say. But how they don't understand it well there's different types of comedy, different tones and what might be funny to them isn't funny to whoever "doesn't get it"

  • @Axxidous My point was that idontubewithyou were responding incredulously to the person who didn't like the film's "British humor" because the people in the film obviously aren't British.

The fact that you can't recognise the Australian accent is suprising, but it even mentions Australia in the description and tags.

  • @Gaalsien uh huh... well I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, what your motivation for it is or why you're telling ME but to be realistic, for anyone in general, it's not really "clearly" and Austrailian film unless it's clear and it's not all too clear to anyone except maybe the British, the Austrailian and anyone else who recognizes the cultures well enough to depict them correctly. Other than that, a person in general can't "clearly" see it's Austrailian if they don't recognize it.

  • @Gaalsien Don't know what the heck you're talking about nor do I understand why. lol
