MOONSTONE - BLACK BLIND LIGHT 1972

Canadian group - Carolyn Macleod, Randy Price & Michael Heath

Vocal, Flute & Guitar

This track is on the Re-issue Cd. The original was a private pressing Lp and if you want to unearth one of those take your JCB to Alaska and dig deep.

  • who is this radioactive production co.? they are the ones that realeased it again. Is that legal? Who is selling it on amazon? is that legal? Just looking out for my brothers rights. Whats with the Alaska thing> Maybe randy lives in Alaska now? mo heath

  • @wunder648 - Who knows? The Alaska is just a throwaway ie Try finding an original copy.

  • Wow... I found this old cut from our album by accident during a Google search for one of the old band members, Randy Price...sadly Carolyn has since passed and I'm living in central Florida still writing and playing weird music. I haven't heard that track in over 30 years...

  • We're also discovering lost or forgotten tracks from just after the invention of the wheel. The late sixties and early seventies have some hidden treasure. This track was banner waved in a UK periodical a few years ago.

  • If you do find out..let us know.

  • @wunder648 There's still no legal reissue for this rare LP. Only bootlegs.

  • @DALSU Total crap. I work hard FOR these artists and make sure 60-70's Quebec music is rediscovered and legally reissued in Quebec so that the original artists can make a few well deserved bucks.

  • I really like this, now I have to track down a re-release of this LP. It would be really cool to find an original pressing, but I doubt that will happen.

  • @wunder648 sounds more like yer looking after your interests.....

  • @culheath Hello! I'm trying to get a clear picture about Moonstone: where the band from Quebec or did they just recorded here on the Kot'ai label? I'm a huge fan of Tony Roman's productions and his name is also in connexion to the band as he was a sound engineer o the LP. Any info would be appreciated! Visit my blog, Patrimoine PQ, for more obscure Quebec acts from the 60's and 70's. Write me at kiosquealimonade@yahoo.ca
