"Priority of God's Word" Pt. 2 (Live Mission Field Message)

The Bible is God's infallible true witness to his redemptive work in Christ. The Bible reveals to us the glorious attributes of our holy God. For these reasons alone the scriptures are forever finished, complete, and uniquely binding. The Bible is a divine revelation given by divine inspiration, and we must bow in reverence before its living authority. We must safeguard its doctrines by faithfully teaching them, and entrusting them to reliable people, and defending it against those who would distort and destroy its eternal truths.

*Proverbs 30:5 "Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put trust in Him."

*John 17:17 "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your Word is truth."

*Psalm 119:105 "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

*2 Timothy 4:2 "Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching."

Is it wrong for a christian to have cable tv?

It all depends what you watch and how much time you spend on the TV.Most stuff is garbage and puts wrong thoughts in your mind.We must be careful what we allow in our minds.!We need to spend more time in the Word.What do you think?

In eternity we will look upon the time we spent watching tv and wish we would have used that time more wisely for the Lord. We will look upon the money we spent paying so that we can waste our time instead of investing it for the Lord. We will know as we are known and so comprehend the utter waste of having cable. Its a dead end that leads to covetousness and lust and slothfullness. I challenge any christian to think about this especially if you have children, it is satans path into your home.

Well done Brother David! Your message is so different from the smiling wolves that preach a "you" type of message. You deserve your best life now. Pure satanic Humpty Dumpty, that really is a message that has no power to save. People need desperately to hear a message like you just shared: about the importance of the Bible, and about repentance from sin through the blood and the cross of Jesus Christ.
