  • @usrRhinos Yes I don't think every apps will be re-coded, but future apps will probably not use flash. That said, take a look at:

    demo . sproutcore . com

    and

    youtube . com /watch?v=5P1S4TJ1AOo

  • What this device is a normal name?

  • Nice editing work. I know you didn't do it, but in the original video the browser crashes when he watches the video. But don't worry, flash isn't buggy at all.

  • @ImRightWinger you are too obvious

  • Lol, Ipods can play youtube anyways...

  • @ginito

HTML5 is slower than FLASH, faggot

  • @n0y0x HTML5

  • @ginito why do you say that?

I can understand if you support the open video streaming formats that firefox has integrated with their newer versions.

and I can also understand it from a web developer's standpoint where it makes websites slow and ui crappy

but there are still lots of apps out there (games, web apps, etc...) that depend on flash and, heck, its pretty useful and nice to have!

  • flash = PILE OF SHIT

  • @usrRhinos Yes, but at the same time, what can't be done with javascript/css/html5 ? Flash might make it easier, but it certainly isn't a need, at least not anymore. (Ok a lot of stuff won't be recoded but future things will be directly coded using new tech.) so I'd say right now is more a transition, Flash is not dead yet, but will lose more and more interest, and might drop quite fast. A lot of big websites are already switching to html5 (or already have).
