These bombers ended up as glider tugs whilst the Lancasters & Halifax's took over with the night bombing.
I wonder how they would have performed if they increased the wings size & installed Merlins ??

I love the movie, the Stirling a crazy looking plane with tiny wings, long fuselage and giant undercarriage, ruined by the boffins in the Air Ministry, but a delight to fly and still an effective bomber and transport!

MG = 7 Squadron I think. Nice piece of work, and for a computer generated model - some quite evocative scenes. Liked the Hampden too.
