Nobody got raped at tailhook at any age. A female officer was "groped" and an admiral failed to do anything about it, so she took it further. Justice was served.

I logged on here on my daughter's computer. Had to say, I was stationed aboard the Lex from '81-'85. I was on the bridge when a plane failed to release on launch and hung off the flight deck, when an airman got sucked against the cage covering a jet intake, and other accidents, when I as a BM3. It horrified me to see it then, and does now. to trivialize that with some of these comments is awful.

At least the pilot never felt the fire, ejecting straight down into the deck like that he had to have been killed on impact.

I was Airman Oscar Aguilar. I worked in V-2 Catapults and Pry Fly from 1985 through 1988. I would like to get intouch with with some fellow shipmates of mine.
