hi i have copd and on oxygen i take several meds but i am doing better then i was when first diagnoised in 2006 i dont smoke did when i was younger quit at age 28 now 50

i useadvair 2x day spiriva 1x day i usecombivent for relief. its all because of smoking. i now swim 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile per day

but i do it slowly,i am 74 yrs young

i try lift weights above my head daily. please quit smoking ty

I use an Acappela they are noy used in USa but are used in UK & EU. It is a small cheap device thats I find helps.

ALL COPD IS NOT FROM SMOKING,NOW THEY SAY USEING YOUR FIRE PLACES CAN CAUSE IT, MAKES SENSE TO ME.HOW MANY OF US HAS SET AROUND A CAMP FIRE BREATHING IN ALL THAT SMOKE.I WORKED IN A MILL FOR 20 YEARS WITH GREASE AND FIRES.WE HAD PEOPLE GO TO THE DR FROM WORK FIRST THING THEY TOLD THEM WAS TO STOP SMOKING AND THEY NEVER SMOKED A DAY OF THIER LIFE.

i dont smoke. I have chronic sinusitus. I also was just diagnosed with asthma and i am being examined for how weak my muscles are for breathing. I have had 4 polyp surgeries and been diagnosed with chronic acute pneum. they are going to do copd testing on me and I am very nervous :(
