Jacob's Ladder wasn't my favorite movie, but the hospital sequence - especially the satanic surgeon - has stuck in my mind more than just about any other sequence in any film.
Just for all those curious, developers of Silent Hill have stated in the past that Jacob's Ladder served as inspiration for a great deal of their game's visual element; namely the frequently-seen head twitching effect. This scene isn't like Silent Hill, rather Silent Hill is like this scene. Not to be nitpicky or anything. Both this movie and the game franchise are excellent.
would you mind telling me where this particular effect is seen in the Silent Hill game? which game, too, please? Typing simply "fast-head" does not lead me anywhere =(
