To be honest in every generation their are people who think they young ones are going astray and ruining the culture etc. Let them experiment. I'm sure at some Powwow 200 years ago people thought that using tradecloth or european beads on a dress was going to ruin powwow's forever.

Oh and the veiled references to black people that have been made are simply racist. The black side of me has a very strong culture, it has even overwhelmed the white majority to a large extent.

Its not the fact that its modern dancing you twit, these dances and outfit represent not just our way of lives but the spiritual side of things, the origins of these dances vary from tribe to tribe but they should all be done in a respectful manner. I'm not a pow wow traveler but these jingle dress outfits should not be so easily disrespected because you disrespect not only yourself but the person who made it for you.
