i have a port and the saline smells like alcohol and the heparin smells like a skunk..yucky..

I am a new RN & needed a visual demo. I work in a long term care environment and we have a patient with a port and hers keeps infiltrating into extravascular space with TPN admin.; and I wanted to see how its done as I am a visual learner. Thanks SO MUCH for demo!! I'll share your demo with my other RNs and facility educators. THANKS AGAIN & Esp. to Patient who allowed the video!!
