As the U.S. Automotive Market downsizes, many companies like Tyco Electronics will be forced to make changes.
On Wednesday, Tyco Electronics revealed its plan to eliminate close to 100 jobs at plants in North America. A significant number of those job cuts will be from two Pennsylvania plants. However, it's North Carolina, Michigan, Mexico, and Canada plant will also be affected.
Employees affected by Tyco's downsize will be offered severance agreements and outplacement services.
It is reported that Tyco's electronics component segment, located in North America, had an 18% decrease in business.
