Bill Moyers sits down with The Nation's John Nichols and conservative constitutional attorney Bruce Fein from the American Freedom Agenda to discuss the crimes and abuse of power by George Bush and Dick Cheney and the need to impeach them both.
Vidkun Quisling was a Norwegian army officer who in 1933 founded Norway's fascist party. In December 1939, he met with Adolf Hitler and urged him to occupy Norway. Following the German invasion of April 1940, Quisling served as a figurehead in the puppet government set up by the German occupation forces, and his linguistic fate was sealed. more...
Why this hasn't already happened is wayyy beyond me. After putting Clinton through impeachment for a sexual peccadillo, Congress seems quite content to let the real high crimes and misdemeanors of Bush, Cheney, et al not only to go unpunished, but to go unrecognized. That is itself is a high crime.
That was one of the most informative and to the point discussions on impeachment I have ever heard. I watched it on TV, and highly recommend everyone go to PBS and watch the entire segment!

cont'd.
Before the end of 1940, "quisling" was being
used generically in English to refer to any
traitor. Winston Churchill, George Orwell, and
H. G. Wells used it in their wartime writings. Quisling lived to see his name thus immortalized,
but not much longer. He was executed for treason
soon after the liberation of Norway in 1945.
Sounds the same of the Bush Cheney gov, does it
not?
