  • hi im just wondering if u still got the bike and if itf 4 sale ono

  • @skateboardingmike1 I have sold the bike. It is now in Texas. Rick

  • Hi !

Congratulations, great job on the Oset. I would like to do such an "upgrade" because my ten yo. boy is now a little bit tall for the bike. Could you tell me if those modifications are difficult to do, is the bike still powerfull ?

    Many thanks,

    Gpjet1

  • I had to modify the swing arm by welding angle pieces to extend it 1.5 inches. Then I laced a 14" motorcycle rim to bicycle hub so I could mount a motorcycle trials tire. The front wheel is a 20" bmx rim laced to the stock hub. The bike still has plenty of power but uses a 37v/10Ah lipo battery. All up weight is 51lbs.

I have been very pleased with the changes, my son has moved up a class and is riding much harder sections.

I believe OSET will be offering a 20" bike for sale soon.

    Rick

  • hardcore biking shoes (crocs)

  • @gpjet1 mate. by ur son a real bike: some sort of 4 stroke 125 or watever and get him to learn bouncing the wheels up on 1 of them. the problem with these r that they are very lazy bikes. just my opinion

  • the rear rime looks more like 18 inch.....original the oset comes with a 16 inch wheel.....

  • Dear Rick,

Thank you very much for all those informations, nice job. It will be very helpfull for me. No front brake ?

By the way, Idon't want to bother you but if you have some photos showing details, that would be perfect. gpjet1@yahoo.fr (I am from France). If not, no worry, I know now how to do the job.

    Many thanks again.

    gpjet1.
