it makes sense to shift at 8k indicated into 2nd and 3rd on a prelude.The tac's are way off, the limiter is at 7800 on a p13. Only going into 2nd and 3rd though, shifting later in 4th and 5th on a prelude is unnecessary because the gears are closer, but its quicker even if the engine isn't building power at those rpms. I've had my lude for 4 years and take it to the track often, I know when to shift by now haha

@Jaran911 Well some people don't have a stock head or bottom end.  My H22 makes power to 8K so I rev it to 8100.
