  • i need some help O.o. am looking for a slr cam that can shoot HD movies in at least 30fps etc, but with good / very good quality sound (like dolby or something), and have some kind of flip screen so i can vlog and see what im doing...

ANYONE know of one? or know where to shop for one?!?!

  • @nabashes

No HDSLR so far has acceptable audio quality if you are an audiophile. Nothing comes close to a video cam with good preamplifiers and maybe even XLR input. The one closest to what you are looking for is probably the Canon 60D.

  • @NikonD6 the problem is that the 7000 costs 3 times the 3100...

  • @ar4216 can you just stop comparing these two brands? if you like canon then just stick with it, you don't have to talk shit about nikon cameras. & probably, most of the ppl who cmmnted on this video own/ want to own a nikon, so all the things you're saying may offend them too. so just keep those shit to yourself, f you don't like nikon. kthanksbye :P

  • @DrOpDeaD14x I like mine I bought because it has easy settings to use for inexperienced/amature photographers. I added a 300mm lens for shooting wildlife in Montana and got some really impressive shots for a newbie. The camera comes with an 18-55mm which is enough for most people doing general shooting but get a minimal of a 300mm if you want to shoot wildlife.

the .DSC file is just there to tell the OS or a program in general that your SD card contains data from a digital stills camera (DSC). To find your video you will have to navigate into a folder that is quite likely named DCIM. The extension of Nikon's video files should be .MOV.

  • was this recorded with the d3100
