The words of Audra Kay Cook: I have never seen a more photogenic people than the Haitians! They are so beautiful. This trip lasted six days and was spent in the Central Plateau of Haiti. We traveled as a team of doctors and students to set up mobile clinics for communities that are deprived of regular health care services. It was an unbelievable experience in which we all worked closely together and learned from one another. The physicians traveling with us set an outstanding example of altruism. Their time was spent not only educating students, but more importantly volunteering their time to help people in need.
