This Video Tutorial features a workaround to control Magic Bullet Looks, allowing live updates to an external monitor while tweaking the image -- in real time in Final Cut Pro (something that isn't possible within the 'Looks' interface).

It also features a quick little demo using Knoll Light Factory with Magic Bullet Looks to create a 'dream sequence' look.

  • Excellent tutorial!

  • @MrObiorah Thanks!

  • Thanks for uploading. It's nice to see an actual colourist using Magic Bullet Looks professionally. Very informative tutorial.

  • @woodswork I use Looks very frequently. Frequently enough that I needed to figure out a way to get work around its limitations. And for every time I use it on an end-product, I'll use 3 times as often as a 'sandbox' to generate ideas - which I then execute manually in my color grading software.

  • Very good job. Thanks for your tutorial.

  • Insanely informative and professional, is love to hear since of your personal philosophies your own color grading and personal style, what touches do you add to get certain looks that you like versus maybe some film school color grading stuff!!
