Tony Perkins looks like a slick salesman. The orthodox fundamentalist Churches are losing membership because people are wising up and realizing they don't want to buy into fear-based lies anymore.

@LivesForJihad, Seeing that you feel strongly about abortion, would you then support government funded pre-natal care and access to health services for when the baby is born? These programs have proven to cut abortion services by more than half.

@TheDalinkwent If you don't have the money to CARE for a baby...Why the fuck are you MAKING a baby? This goes back to my point on restraint and safe sex, and by extension, responsibility.

What health risk? This is the 21st century...pregnancy related deaths are near statistical zero. It's like dying of polio in the western world, possible, but VERY unlikely given the resources.

As for Rape? That is tough to refute, but you cannot prove abortion is "ok" with ONE tough argument.

@LivesForJihad, BTW abortion is a much more complex issue than simply "safe sex". Most abortions are because money reason's. Some mothers simply can't afford to have a baby and carry it to term, not to mention health risk and the idea of rape and incest. It's also funny that the crhistian right doesn't want governemt involved in helping the mother with medical cost and access, but demand's she have the baby. Like I said you guys can't have it both ways. Either you want smaller gov't or not.

@LivesForJihad, Such a typical response. The issue isn't gay people flaunting their sexuality in the military, it's them being kicked out because they were exposed as being gay by outside factors. For example one guy was kicked out when a fellow solider found a picture of his lover by going through his personal bag. Your stance on abortion simply proves you have no issue with governemet getting involved as long as it fits your worldview. You guys can't have it both ways.

@TheDalinkwent DADT is not necessary. Proclaiming your gayness or heterosexuality has a time and a place, and the military is not the place. Did it ever occur to you that there are some bigots in the military that actually kill homosexuals. It happens a lot in the Navy, people "lost at sea". Perhaps DADT was to protect gays from harm?

Abortion is not necessary either so long as people have restraint and practice safe sex. If you wanna throw the dice, live with the outcome
