I think that this is an amazing example of a hidden blade. The fact that the safety to keep it in also keeps it out is great. But I think you were using it a little ineffectively. In my opinion, a blade at the wrist would be best used with a fist, the blade itself coming out between two of the fingers. Then it would be much easier for slashing, and much more effective for stabbing.

Thanks.
I still need to work on a smaller "Locking Mechanism" as this one is too long and affects parkouring.
Steel housing, i can already get it but i am on a budget. Ha XD

Wait... did you make that yourself???
It's awesome :D
All you need is some type of steel housing the blade and a long coat and your a ninja :D

Not currently but soon enough.

I'm not sure but this design seems relatively unsafe for yourself compared to the other ones shown around here. On the other hand, the thing looks and sounds good (I love the "shish" it makes when it jumps out :D)

Can you please explain how is it unsafe?

@shaddowsiner It's the locking mechanism, it seems to me that it would easily fall open even when you didn't intend to, making accidents likely to happen. Also with opening it on purpose: move out the blade and you might hurt your hand on it. It'll probably just be a scratch or something, but trying to impress someone with that is not really great ;) I'm not an engineer, but there's plenty of good vids here for making safe hidden blades.

Nope. It wont easily fall open when my palm in pressing on the locking mechanism. The blade would only be unleashed when the locking mechanism is open when i flick my hand up in a 90 degree position perpendicular to my arm.
But i dont understand the "Also with opening it on purpose: move out the blade and you might hurt your hand on it." Please elaborate that. Your comment is crucial for my next version of the hidden blade, which might not use a locking mechanism..
