LIKA - a unique collaboration for ICT in teacher education

LIKA is a six year project financed by the Swedish Knowledge Foundation, and will in the end engage about 600 teachers and 8000 teacher students at four institutes - Royal Institute of Technology, Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences, Royal College of Music in Stockholm,Stockholm Institute of Education - and more than 20 000 teachers in primary and secondary schools. LIKA stands for the processes of Learning, Information, Communication and Administration. LIKA aims at introducing digital literacy and competence in courses. ICT should be an integrated and natural part in the profession of teaching.
