I was 10 in 1974 when this came out and loved this song. Where have all the years gone, 37 years ago! I remember they had their own tv show even though they never had many hits. Used to be on weekdays after school. Underated band and a great song, thanks for posting this.

Yes. This is the same band the Arrows that wrote and recorded the original first version of "I Love Rock N Roll" the next year 1975, out on RAK records distributed by EMI.

You are FUNNY!!! WELL, it's the same songwriters as the Sweet's Wig-Wam Bam, so perhaps you should ask the composers Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn why all their songs sound the same! I guess they "ripped" themsleves off. LOL!
