"Touch Too Much" by the band Arrows, which aired on Top Of The Pops in 1974. This Mickie Most produced RAK-EMI 45 rpm record was in the top ten for 8 weeks, peaking at #6 in June of '74, and was a debut hit record for the band. Arrows are Alan Merrill lead vocals and bass guitar, Jake Hooker guitar and backing vocals, and Paul Varley, drums and backing vocals.

  • Yes. This is the same band the Arrows that wrote and recorded the original first version of "I Love Rock N Roll" the next year 1975, out on RAK records distributed by EMI.

  • You are FUNNY!!! WELL, it's the same songwriters as the Sweet's Wig-Wam Bam, so perhaps you should ask the composers Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn why all their songs sound the same! I guess they "ripped" themsleves off. LOL!

  • I was 10 in 1974 when this came out and loved this song. Where have all the years gone, 37 years ago! I remember they had their own tv show even though they never had many hits. Used to be on weekdays after school. Underated band and a great song, thanks for posting this.
