classic if you have something that you recored back then tv networks might pay you very well. cause they earaed all there shows to save money on the tapes. some one out there has some videos that tv networks earased.

What a gem. Man, I logged a ton of hours on these machines, and that matching RM-400 editor. All things considered, it was a pretty straight forward setup, with a clean picture.

Seeing this reminds me of the U-Matic VCR's that my high school used back in 1977. I used to help out with running these machines, and making sure they got from the AV room to the class where it would be used.

RM-400 is not an A/B roll controller IMHO. It allows only tape-to-tape cut editing. Fro A/B roll you need to control three machines: two players (slaves) and one recorder (master). Than you can do transitions (or other tricks like chroma key) between A and B source tapes. I think that A/B roll editing was introduced by Sony in BVE series, all RMs were cuts only.
