Time and Time Again by Daan Manneke. This piece was written in the 20th century for recorder quintet paying homage to the music from Frescobaldi, Ciconia, and others. The sections of early music are in between the composer's own interpretation and composition of early music. The players from left to right: Rebecca Molinari, Alexa Raine-Wright, Vincent Lauzer, Laura Osterlund, and Ji-Sun Kim. Performed in Tanna Schulich Hall at McGill University in Montreal, Canada on October 31st 2007.

  • sorry, to me it sounds like donkeys on a willow... a sick donkey... at least the beginning. but that's not the recorders' fault, it must be the music itself. the second part sounds a lot better, like proper old music - only slightly donkeyish :-)

  • Bahaha donkeys !

    Interesting stuff anyway :P
