Eager people were gathered outside of a house where an attempt to murder occurred by RAB. Mohammad Benzir is the owner of this house. His minor daughter Pinky and wife are crying. This is the main road of a divisional town Rajshahi near the museum of Varendra research. The house of Benzir is situated inside of this road. Benzir is an accused criminal. But the demand of his family is that, he is now changed. Especially after the Operation Clean Heart (2002). And this road is a most busy in Rajshahi city. After gunshot Benzir is laying down in his own bed. In that time he was senseless. Inside of his head a pistol and some bullet. And the photo journalists are taking snap. The people of RAB are taking Benzir to their pickup from his bed. Benzir himself is crying. Bleeding is coming out from his body (legs) where RAB was shooting. On the other hand his wife, child and other relatives are crying in that time. The family members are lamentations. After hearing to Benzir incident at least thousand people are gathering in and outside of Benzirs house.
A neighbor of Benzir an old woman told, I didnt see with my eyes. But after hearing the fire we came here. At least 4/5 sounds of bullet we were heard. When RAB was shooting him then his wife was present there. The incident of Benzir was occurred on 2nd May, 2007 during emergency. I was made an investigative report and it was on aired in CSB News (a first 24 hours news TV channel of Bangladesh, later CSB was closed by government). Then on 3rd May, 2007 (that day is an international press freedom day) I was threatened by Major Rashidul Hasan Rashid.
Journalist F.M Masum. He is working for the English daily newspaper New Age. He was tortured by RAB for his reporting against RAB atrocities. Masum was inhumanly persecuted in his house on 22nd October, 2009. Masum has admitted to the hospital and he is in a trolley of hospital. The army men are positioned near the BDR headquarters during so-called mutiny. Two others killed by RAB in extra judicially.
The relatives of Maznu Sheikh are lamentations while RAB was killed to Maznu. Maznu was a local leader of Workers Party. Maznu was killed on 18th May, 2007. The general people are protesting against Maznu murder and for trial of the killers of RAB. They are doing rally with the dead body of Maznu. This is me while I was giving a speech for a TV report on indigenous issues from inside a festival of Indigenous. These mass gatherings are in during the emergency. I am giving another PTC (peach to camera) in front of the Rajshahi medical college hospital. And this PTC for an immoral-illegal decision of the hospital authority which has goes against the general people. This gathering for a press conference is inside of the hospital which has organized by internee student of the same hospital. Before that, RAB was tortured to a prison guard Sahebul Islam by the order of Brigadier General Bazle Quader who is the director of that hospital in that time. This is the main city of Rajshahi. Police is on duty of the killing place of Maznu. General people are informing me about the killing of Maznu Sheikh by RAB. This is Maznus dead body in the hospital morgue. The eye witnesses are saying that, the members of RAB were beating to Maznu by 7/8 bamboo stick. RABs are in civil and dressed and one was with beard in his mouth and a Panzabee was in his body. RAB was beaten to Maznu's mother, brother. Maznus mother is showing her torture area in her body. Maznu's elder brother Piarul is crying and broken his tears. RAB wasn't allowed to come in the killing place. They told who would come here we must shot him. Additional polices are deployed in the place of occurrence. Benzir was arrested also in 2002 during the Operation Clean Heart. The Army men were taking him from an army pickup.
The wife of Benzir saying, my husband was wanted to go with RAB's. RAB was shot him in front of my eyes. I cant endurable. My husband himself wanted to go with them in spite of they were shot him. Without any cause they shot. Many of RAB were come to our house. They were sited and talked. I wanted to make tea for them. They told that we are searching your room, and then two/three RAB's members were catches him and shot. 4/5 time were sounds from their bullet of gun. I cant tolerate it.

After on aired this report and only for my professional activities I have obtained huge enemies from different sectors such as Army, RAB, Islamic militant, some political influential. So, I was illegally arrested, tortured and detained for 28 days by army-RAB in 2007. They wanted to kill me.
