Yeah, like we need a "doddering old fool" for president. Been there, done that - remember Reagan? He was completely senile for his entire second term. McCain might have been a POW for years but everything he's done since has undone that reputation. All you conservative dimwits out there need to do is Google "Keating 5" and read Rolling Stone magazine's profile of McCain for the real truth: McCain is a spineless, mush-mouthed coward with no honor whatsoever.

McCain made propaganda tapes for the Vietnamese government. Read his book. No other POW is known to have done that. He was awarded the silver star for actions (what actions?) which took place precisely during the period he was making those tapes. Kinda helps to have a politically connected admiral for a father.

McCain is a dottering old fool, but at least he is fairly presidential. Palin is a moronic parrot/puppet. She is an albatross around McCain's neck. He should've taken gone with Lieberman; I'd at least consider him. With Palin, he's proven himself clearly as putting vote-pandering before country.

Being a war hero has little to do with being president, since the office encompasses far more than merely being able to make things go boom.
