Was not a car, was a WC....

what was the in car heating system like? Being an air cooled engine...

@YTLaurens The 2cv engine, was a 2 cylinder boxer. The GS engine, was a 4 cylinder Boxer, builded joined two 2cv engines. Both engines were air cooled, due to this, the sound was peculiar, as the 911 and old Beetle. My father owned one GS palas with 1220 cc engine. Was a great car that gives us 17 years of utility and fun.

@YTLaurens Both have 4-piston air-cooled engines, but that´s the only thing they have in common. Obviously, the GS´s engine is much better... In fact, the GS was designed to fill in the gap of performances differences between the 2CV and the DS "Shark".

It's air cooled, the same as a 2CV and I think I'm right in saying that the cylinders in the 2CV and GS are both in a boxer layout. That possibly explains some of the similarity.

I was burdening from one dyane6, because of it that one hears so typical noise. The citroen gs sounds totally differently.
