This is the worst "feature" of the Galaxy S2. Stupid Vlingo pops up whenever I press the Home button and I NEVER want to use it. I consider it a bug.

We’ve seen quite a few comments where customers are accidently triggering the double tap feature and other customers want to minimize the text to speech functionality. Here a few tips and tricks:

    1) Disable double-tap feature: Open your phones “Settings”, then select “Motion settings”. From there you can uncheck "Double Tap".

    2) Turn off Driving Mode to minimize TTS feedback: Open your phones “Settings”, select “Voice input and output, then “Text-to-Speech”. Uncheck “Driving mode”.

Thanks to all for the comments. We do think Voice Talk makes for a powerful Siri-alternative for S II owners. We actually focused more on handsfree usage, as well. You can wake up the app by saying "Hi, Galaxy" without laying a finger on your phone. From there you can send messages, make calls, get directions, create a note or play music all without touching the screen. This isn't the case with Siri, and we think gives Voice Talk a big advantage in any situation where your hands are tied.

Is there any way of getting the Voice Talk back? I deleted my Voice Talk that time because I feel annoyed when Voice Talk popped out.........Now I missed it a lot........

The double tap is not the problem, the problem is pressing the home button twice. Getting the most of the time unwanted voice control. This is also very distressing if you are switching from an iPhone, where you usually would get to the "last used apps". Instead there is woman screaming at you "WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?". Is there any way to turn this "feature" off (this is the only thing, that made me want to root the phone)? I'd be very grateful for that.

Both already done. Vlingo randomly pops up on a single press of the home button, for example when trying to exit an application. Completely unacceptable.
