SPOILER: I heard a lot of people were disappointed by the ending, although I'm not so sure the audience is supposed to be rooting for Gerard Butler's character by that point. It's a pity they didn't make an alternative ending -- one where he dies, yes, but at the school musical recital afterwards the tie around Jamie Foxx's neck goes into some kinda self-racheting strangulation booby trap. :-)

By the end of the movie I was actually pissed off that he died. He got to be with his wife and child sure, but I for one wanted to see him cripple the system like he intended.

The ending sucked, the whole movie his character is sold as this Genius who covers his tracks perfectly and then the dumbass lawyer who he is 100 steps of the entire movie, outwits him with public records of sold commercial property. Ruined a great movie, it was a fucking stupid ending.

@eustispanther I know right, the ending was absolute bull shit, like the uploaders comment says, atleast give a alternet ending, and the tie thing really isent such a bad i dea, but i wood still would of liked to see clyde win, he was to smart to git caught like that anyway the bomb would of been in the walls or somthing cool like that
