Certified by the American Bladesmith Society, Bob Kramer is the only Master Bladesmith in the world specializing in kitchen cutlery. Cook's Illustrated once wrote: "The Kramer knife outperformed every knife we've ever rated" and Saveur dubbed Bob "The Master of the Blade."

For this exclusive collection, Sur La Table worked with the master himself—along with renowned German knife maker Zwilling J.A. Henckels—to create an exquisite line of artisan knives designed by Bob and crafted to his exacting specifications.

Handcrafted in Seki City, Japan, exclusively for Sur La Table. Limited lifetime warranty.

I bought a pair of blister-pack knives in Aldi for €20, and I am genuinely afraid of them.

I never dreamed any thing could be so sharp, & they hold the edge as well.

I have knives that cost a fortune;- Japanese etc. - but the Aldi ones are my favourite.

Are these actual pattern welded steel? Or is it an acid-etched pattern?
