Well if someone is putting their musical performance up on the Internet, they should not be surprised that it may receive criticism. Some people will say, "Oh my, that touched my soul and it's wonderful." Some people will say, "Wow, that sounds like a dying cat." To each their own. I don't listen to pop music, I like things that are different, off-beat, and even dissonant at times. But imao, this is just not good music.

After all, this was called Experimental Philosophy Anthem, and with a name like that you have to expect it will be a giant leap away from the commercial pop that most people only ever hear. Send me your latest creation, I will view it with an open mind.

Playing music is a tough thing. People either like your music or not. She is playing for herself and if that is the sound she wants to use to convey an emotion or message she is just doing here thing. I have booked shows and run live sound for years and have experienced music much worse than this. I would never discount it if I did not like the music. If the musicianship is good I can appreciate the music without embracing the genre.
