@drissc I wouldn't say he was berklee product. he was there for a semester. he's simply addressing elements of his playing that are useful to him. He doesn't bother with advanced triad studies or the more obscure melodic minor modes because he doesn't use that stuff in his solos. He's not giving an advanced theory lesson he's giving a krasno lesson. Honestly alot of that stuff is crap anyway. And I agree with you.

Because he's not explaining the most complicated parts of music theory does not mean he's simple, and it also does not mean that what he's doing is bad. This kind of playing sounds much better than any of the most advanced jazz fusion.
