@RKOyou It's clear that Chris is obsessed with, wants and loves Toby with every fibre of himself and that he won't let anything, not even Toby's happiness, get in the way of them being together. An ambiguous ending or a future between Toby and Chris isn't possible because that kind of all consuming love is dangerous and toxic (as Beecher says in the above video). Chris' death is the only way Toby could ever have a future.

@max1989x1 Nah, he put himself to the edge so that if Beecher would reject him he would be pushed off and die, however he didn't expect it to happen which is why he scream "BEECHER, DON'T" out of shock. He couldn't live without Beecher, he was obsessed and in love at the same time. The reason why he smiled also seconds after falling was because he was glad to see Beecher's reaction to his death. All my theory though...
