Kil'jaeden and Archimode are both species called Eredar an old race in the universe that was supremely gifted naturally with magick, Sargeras saw this and chose the three strongest as his generals and turned them into what they are now, this race was what is now named Dreani, one of them refused so there are two generals of the legion.

@P0WeR0fRA Kil'Jaeden. He was so powerful that he needed to be summoned through a power source like the Sunwell whereas Archimonde was merely summoned through incantations from Medivh's spellbook by Kel'Thuzad.
