Stigma and discrimination pose a major challenge to fighting the spread of HIV and AIDS. Fortunately, there are also tools, programs and measurement to reduce HIV and AIDS stigma. The International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) has developed interventions that work with communities to build understanding of HIV and AIDS stigma and the capacity to reduce it.
