PROTECT: Online and Social Media Event for the Youth Arts Sector
ENYAN (English National Youth Arts Network) delivered this event in partnership with Action Transport Theatre, to present vital information on e-safety and the use of social media when working with young people. This event aimed to raise awareness and increase knowledge and understanding of e-safety and best practice when involving social media during youth arts projects.
In this age of technology and viral social media, organisations working with young people continually need to remain up to date with legislation and regulation regarding child online protection and e-safety. This event provided an overview for safeguarding young people in the arts during the use of the internet and social media.
It presented examples of how to engage young people through digital and social media and the creative benefits and outcomes that this can have upon a youth arts project.
This evaluation film was produced and edited by Jordan Derbyshire, supported by thebox.tv.
