A group of Foundation Diploma Art students from South West College Enniskillen Campus took part in creating a bronze sculpture to be sited at the Marble Arch Caves. The team worked as part of the Art of Regeneration Project which was devised in partnership with the College and the Arts for the Fermanagh District Council. With Artist in residence Holger Lönze, the group had two in-house workshops in the College designing and making the wax forms. The process used is a very old sculptural technique from the Bronze Age called the "Lost Wax Process". It is a highly skilled technique which few sculptors use today due to cost and skill. The group spent two days on site learning from Holger and together they built a furnace to melt the bronze.
