My Husband has recently been diagnosed with Hep C & stage 4 cirrhosis of his liver. His doctor has prescribed Alpha Interferon & Rabivarin treatments. He also is a type 2 diabetic. He is 60 years old. I would like to know if there are any new treatments for this condition as it appears to be extremely harsh and does not show a high percentage of a positive outcome. Can you please help?

@XxNAZOx There is no cure, there is only management. A liver transplant is an option for liver failure, but it may reoccur in the new liver. There is a group on facebook for PBC patients.
