The 21 Day Family Fitness Challenge was created to encourage the community to make a choice towards living a healthier lifestyle. With the steady rise in Canadian childhood obesity rates, Fitness Town's challenge mission is to engage families of all sizes to stay physically active together; ultimately, creating a lifelong habit of fitness and health. Let's make exercise FUN again!

Did You Know? * Obesity rates in children have almost tripled in the last 25 years * 26% of Canadian children ages 2-17 years old are currently overweight or obese * Currently, 59% of adult Canadians are either overweight or obese * Only 13% of Canadian children currently meet the daily activity guideline of 90 minutes a day * If this trend continues, in 20 years we can expect 70% of Canadian adults to be overweight or obese

This program begins on the 1st of every month and runs for 21 days as research suggests it takes 21 days to break a habit. Proceeds from each $30 registration will be donated towards one of five charities or the school PAC (Parent Advisory Council) of their choice.
