Portions of a new law will affect how young adults get credit cards. The law, which will put age restrictions on credit cards and ban certain types of marketing from college campuses, takes affect February 2010. Our reporter talked to students at the University of Missouri and got their reactions.
This is a great website, but these videos stink. Thanks for the upload!

The Credit Card act of 2009 was a fantastic move by our legislature. There are too many young college students in the US that have been thrust into credit debt due to the over availability of credit cards and the lack of knowledge of the inner workings of credit card companies. Not only has the law prohibited advertising on college campuses but it has taken away the credit companies abilities to change rates and payment dates without warning. Thank you Obama for this at least.

What about the credit card company? Shouldn't they have a say on whether or not someone who can't even pay back the amount loaned is deserving of their services?
