I decided to interview my raw milk provider, Mark Lopez of Wholesome Dairy Farms to get some answers on raw milk production, benefits and practices. Feel free to visit www.WholesomeDairyFarms.com for more images and videos on milk production. For further information read this article http://www.garagestrength.com/?page_id=172.

  • As he said, the odds are much higher that you will die in a car accident than drinking raw milk. Easy on the paranoia and study the facts. I can't believe humanity lasted this long drinking raw milk!!!

  • Omega 3 is much higher in grass fed milk also. Like 5 times higher!!! Winter milk on forage only is still very very good. My milk stays yellow through most of the winter and still maintains a full rich taste. Letting grass get a little taller gives fiber and energy with less protein, which makes a good balanced diet for grass only cows. Holsteins can work just fine with nutrient dense forage and no grain, as mine have been no grain for 10 years.

  • @liagarden that and your body will have a harder time absorbing the fat soluble vitamins such as D.

  • Do not drink non-fat milk. It is the worst form for you!

  • @1pick2sticks You can get any natural, live food you want in Phoenix!

  • Good interview! Good sound. Thank you! Glad he mentioned conjugated linoleic acids. People have no idea what is in "natural food" that is not in factory-farmed milk, or meat, or cows fed grain. Grass fed is the best--for milk or meat! Thanks again.

  • this and water are the best liquids you can put in your body. My mother told me when she was growing up, they drank milk straight out of the cow, got their eggs from the chickens, grew their own vegatables, drank well water , did'nt have to put the mayonaise in the refrigerator.

  • Seems like a cool guy and I'm glad I understand the benefits of raw as opposed to pasteurized milk now :)

I don't approve of veal either, and to be honest I'm a bit of a lazy veggie (meat slips in there but I don't overdo it) so I don't jump at any kind of meat. Milk's good though - especially for kefir! ^^

  • @prsglenn That breed of cattle is usually a little bigger no matter what they eat. If you see them looking skinny like a jersey you should be seriously concerned about their health.

  • "Buy some of our veal..." SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!

  • Those cows are obese! What have they been eating?!?!

  • @AwnyaOS Yeah, I found them last year. have been getting it from them.
