  • Thanks, the video is brilliant, but just to clarify, we do not consider God to be human, we consider the human form to be made in Gods image "search4 Krishna", but hisform is entirely spiritual, not chemicals like a human form. A human being is not God and neither is God a human, only the form is similar. Inside the human form is a spiritual soul, which animates the body, we are individual souls and of the same quality as Gods body, but minute, without His immense creativity/quantity/power e.g.

  • Thank you for your clarification

  • Hi... I don't know if someone has already commented on this .... but just to clarify .... A temple is the dwelling place of God ... and hence since the Hindu's consider god to be a human too.... this place is supposedly his/her home. Since the God is projected in the form of a statue, it is offered water which is liking bathing the statue, and then it is dressed, flowers are offered as they spread fragrance.

  • Thank you for clarifying it for us. That was very helpful

  • where is this?

  • Somewhere in Illinois. Maybe Geneva?

  • wow this temple is absolutely beautiful. I'm just fascinated with Indian architecture.

  • Hindus liken God to themselves, hence they bathe and imaginatively feed the God. It means, the God has accepted the food and the worshippers later share the food believing that it is also likened by the God...Apart from that, I would also wish your mom understand more about the hinduism and look for the positives of that great religion. I dont meant to say that Hinduism is perfect but just that it has lots of good things to offer to the well being of Mankind...Thanks for posting this video...

  • Once you reach the abode, you find your creator ( in the avatar you have worshipped) this is to say, lord Vishnu manifests himself as buddha, Jesus, Allah, and anyother form you have worshipped. For non believers, no god, but beautiful experience! Hindus are very liberal ideologies... There is a character in indian epic, mahabaratha called Shikandi- who was born as a girl, but raised as man and married a woman! LGBT are very old concepts in Hindu Religion!

  • 'being Hindu', means connecting to your Creator in your own ways! Lord Vishnu is considered the Kings of the Lords. So, no matter which god you worship, EOD, it all belongs to Lord Vishnu. This is exactly what Krishna says in BagvadGeetha 1000s of years before. So even if you're a Christian, Muslim or even Atheists. If you're sincere in your prayers , belief ( read not lecturing hate to people of different faiths) you will reach vaikuntam, adobe of Lord Vishnu.

  • @alpha7445 thank u alpha

  • i was there with my daughter like 2 years ago and now she wants to go there this summer she just enjoys learning about different coltures she really loves Indian movies she would watch theme day and nigh

  • Hey .. There r times when the temple is open to the public.. It's not open all day long as idols r worshiped as human figures.. They are cleaned clothed feed n they sleep too.. Yup.. Anyone is allowed at normal hours tats why their were no Hindus at the temple...as they know it's afternoon naptime for gods... Hindus do not believe in heathens or seek coverts .. Its pretty obvious u cannot take pics inside the temple... Just like Vatican but outside the temple ok...

  • u don't have any idea of Hinduism...We don't kill u if u enter the temple....

  • Oh God! The comments are rather funny. Here is an individual who is curious about a culture, allow a little leeway. No Hindu understands what Hinduism is about, even the courts cannot define it. It is fine for people to have notions, and the way to educate (if at all it is a priority) is not by the tone in many of these remarks "how can you not know this about us!" Appreciate it. It is a beautiful temple though.

  • @piratesofjalandhar
