@SkunkBerry33 I'll repeat, plus minus and second assists. I'm guessing you've never playe a high level of hockey. There's more to it than only what's on paper. Players aren't signed for point totals alone... and for good reason. This is a hopeless debate lol
-
@MajicPictures It is even funnier because you are not
-
@SkunkBerry33 It's fun proving you wrong though.

@SkunkBerry33 I'm not arguing that Seguin is good, you're missing the point. If you're going to stick to your stats argument, then let's take a closer look. Seguin is lined up with Bergeron, a more talented player today than Savard when Kessel had 36. Seguin has 24 assists - 13 of them second assists. Kessel only has 5 second assists. Are you getting it yet? Do you realize how indicative both second assists and plus minus are of a player's line? You have NO clue lol.
-
@MajicPictures BTW, way to stick with your word, "I'm not going to waste more time justifying why that is." Your word just had a lot worth
-
@MajicPictures Kessel is 8 points ahead, with 3 games in hand, (4 technically because Seguin was benched for behavioral problems) I would be scared, especially with Kessel's second half history. My biased slant you say? Only a complete moron would fail to take into consideration that the Kid is 19 years old, and only in his second full season. You could argue Kessel has lesser talent no with Toronto, but he did not with the Bruins in any of his seasons.
-
@SkunkBerry33 Again, if you think that Seguin passing Kessel in total points, assuming the line ups are similar, is in ANY WAY indicative of their individual skill - then you sir have shown your lack of hockey knowledge.
-
@SkunkBerry33 Did you completely miss the point? Seriously, am I talking to a fucking tree right now? My argument has nothing to do with point totals, only a complete idiot would take that purely into account when judging two players. Can you imagine Kessel's production on that line? Or rather, Seguin's lack of production on the Leafs top line? Do you get it now, or is this still flying over your head? lol.
-
@MajicPictures lolololololol. Seguin is 19 and is only 8 points behind Kessel, in his second year in the NHL. I cannot wait until Seguin passes Kessel in the coming years, and you eat crow.
-
@SkunkBerry33 Your argument is absolutely ridiculous. I laugh at your lack of hockey knowledge and entirely biased slant on this. Both teams came out of the trade in good standing, but to directly compare Kessel to Seguin is ridiculous. Your points don't even make sense and are entirely irrational. I'm not going to waste more time justifying why that is.
This Leafs lineup looks fucking painful. So much better nowadays.
