Lost Odyssey Review (Xbox 360)

Ive played a lot of rpgs in my day, and this, is another one of them. Lost Odyssey was highly praised by some people, and others thought it was just okay, I'm kind of torn between both of those. The game from a technical stand point is great, but there were things that kept me from loving it, although it is a fine rpg, I feel you can find better ones to play, but you'll find out all about my opinions in my review.

so whats a good turn based rpg for xbox 360 other than this?

@laddyboy12 Are we talking traditional turn based? If so, Blue Dragon is the only game that comes to mind. There are other great rpg's for the system, but they don't fall into the traditional turn based rpg format.

FF VI, VII, VIII, Secret of Mana, Illusion of Gaia, Soul Blazer, Chrono Trigger... My favourite RPG/Action RPGs... Link to the Past was a good Action RPG too. Hell, even FF IV was great. I prefer the older style medieval era but that doesn't really exist any more and it's sad. The music as well from Nobuo Uematsu played a major role in the FF series that really sucked me into the story and made everlasting memories in my brain. We need these games again. The good 'ol childhood memories.

I couldn't get into this one. It just sits on my shelf. Maybe one day. So far I've only given it about 45 minutes ...and then I just became beyond bored.

the only rpg where i didnt get bored at random battles was in legend of dragoon, awesome combo system kept me entertained
