wow i got lyme took meds now iv tested negative but you know what these doctors really need to test for lyme.when you have to lie to a doctor and say you travel just so they test you for lyme!!!! and you know what my moms husband had a bad infection recently now all of a sudden my mom has it!
I'm from the UK and I am recovering from Lyme disease. I had it for about 4 years before it was finally diagnosed and I went on 18months of antibiotics. The antibiotics don't seem to be making any difference now though and I still suffer from fatigue.
I was just searching Kamloops in youtube because I am thinking about moving there when I recover and I found this Lyme video!
I think Lyme disease is pretty much endemic right across the US, Canada and Europe.
I thank you so much for your support, I'm pleased to say that it's now been over 4 years since my long term antibiotic treatment and I'm still doing great! I wish everyone out there the same success that I've had thanks to the great care I received from Dr. Murakami.
Well done and bestwishes for continued good health.
I've sent you a short video response in the form of a commercial for a UK charity tring to raise awareness here - hope you get chance to watch, rate and comment!
I've had Lyme for 12 years also.. I'm finally being treated but have a long way to go, and am still very ill.
I found it interesting that she was on the grass in sandals during this interview.. something I wouldn't feel comfortable doing. Not judging this.. just found it interesting, since i'm struggling with the question of how much to avoid tick-infested areas.
Check out the preview of the upcoming film about Lyme "Under Our Skin", at www.openeyepictures.com --it's very moving.
My partner has Lyme as well and is 95% symptom free. She recovered within one year from being hospitalized. It was nasty, I couldn't believe how bad it got. She is actually healthier now than before she contracted Lyme.

Don't kid yourself, I use repellants...natural ones as I never want to go through that again!
