I've seen Glenn live a bunch of times and he never ceases to amaze me, he's got immaculate timing and a great ear for whatever he's playing.

@ThomasMetal75 You are on drugs, and if it's not that outstanding, I'd urge you to duplicate it. Get a clue man, it's not all flash, and I still think that was pretty flashy. Attempt any of those polys, or come up with anything a third as creative, and maybe they'd ask you to come to this festival. Glenn Kotche is incomprable, and perhaps the best in the world, certainly Rock's greatest. Read a theory book, or learn how to read music.

Kotche exhibits every aspect of what makes a great drummer truly 'great.' He demonstrates the essence of what separates the Guitar Center "Drum-Off superzeros" from the real 'artists' who get paid to do what they love. Kotche is a genuine artist b/c he approaches his instrument as an instrument. He knows when to shine & when to lay back, becoming the band's driving force & foundation. In other words, he knows how to 'play to the music.' A concept few drummers are even cognizant of.
