sometimes as a kid when i wanted to be an asshole and scare ppl id max out the tv vlume and blow up the cars to fuck with ppl *it always worked bwahahaha... fucking game was best racer evaaaar and good to troll pplz ears with ha... love it xD

when i owned the original game that loud explosion sound of the car blowing up on my tv as a kid was fucking louder than any other sound in the game it used to scare the fuck out of me... ironically when i got bored of the game i used to love flying as far out of the track as i could to blow up...good game + good times. best racing game ever n64 + gamecube version dont even have the feel this game has i swear they vehicles are faster in this game.

Jesus, don't be such an elitist. It's entirely possible to enjoy this stage even using save states, given how ridiculously hard it is. I suppose it wouldn't be enjoyable in your case, since you have this idea that save states = cheating, but that's not how everybody sees it.

Yes I did, but with Save-states and using the Fire Stingray =P
But there is one track, harder than this Fire Field.

it dissapoints me too!!!!
the gravity plummet fields, the distance for the jumps, the arrow jumps, the railless part, too close bombs, too narrow healthplates!!!!
the only part it could be a real work is the corner jumps and the skipstone platforms!!!
i was LMFAOing all the time!!!!
