I've not said I disregard evidence, I don't. Only that already long debunked & outdated evidence like Piltdown I do not cite as evidence, while you do. mutations are a form of recombination.

@vbirdieb science doesn't work by assuming its base is even correct, but the fruits of science & its accuracy in explaining nature demonstrate the picture it provides is one of utility. if it wasn't accurate, we wouldn't be talking over the internet right now.

Study history and you will find out many early scienctists were Christian. Is there a reason why your trying to make science a religion? As far as I'm concerned God created everything we are discovering. Why would I reject what God gave humanity.?

@agentorange20 Are you talking mutations or variations (recombinations) of the genes? Anything outside of normal parameters is detramental to the offspring. Things that aren't normally seen, like black people with blue eyes, isn't outside the parameters, just rare.

I understand the definitiion, but if your base is false to begin with you will always find the answer you want, the wrong one. You have to start with absolute facts to get the absolute truth. If you refuse to consider evidence that is demonstrated over and over again, wouldn't that make you willfully ignorant? That's true regardless of who you are.
