The tegra is NVIDIA's new chipset, the APX 2500 is the development kit built around the/for the chipset. Phones based on the tegra probably won't be around till late 2009 to mid 2010, so if you want another phone right away then you might want to get the iphone, if you can wait 6-12 months then you might want to consider getting a tegra based phone. Non iphone's may have a sub par user interface (it's not magic, apple hires and listens to really good interaction designers).
