This man name is Mua'amar El-Gaddafi

Mua'amar is his first name and Gaddari is the family name

the funny is his name Mua'amar meaning is [long-lived]

and his family name meaning took of the noun [Throw]

so this man crazy enough to throw fire on people to live forever, as what we say in Arabic something like [his action of his name] it's just the translate I wish I did it clear

@Gaus212 which reads Qadhafi by a scholar and also reads Gaddafi by a young less educated lay man since most of the new technology is in the hand of in the latter crowd if you reverse the same translation you get Gaddafi...

Its Qadhafi if you want to sound like a academic snob and its Gaddafi you want to spell correctly on potential internet & its or Qaddafi if you want to be correct on You tube:-)

The proper name is Muammar el-Qadhafi معمر القذافي if you go by normal 20th century letter to letter translation & it wold be correct if Libyans pronounce it that way but the younger 21st gen. Al Jazira Al Arabia younger crowd are translating it chose to how they pronounce it without regardless of Linguistics hence they have influenced the English language spellchecker on the internet where Gaddafi checks correctly but if you place”Qadhafi” in Google translator you get "القذافي"
